Dan Ephraim has over 15 years of experience in the Internet Infrastructure space holding leadership positions in sales and marketing functions. Prior to founding Infrastructure Market Associates, he served as the Vice President of Sales and Leasing at STACK Infrastructure along with holding the same position at both Digital Realty Trust and DFT Technologies (now Digital Realty Trust). During his tenure at these firms, he leased powered shell and turnkey capacity to companies like, to name a few, Google, CyrusOne, DataBank, Cyxtera, Zayo, Invesco, CommScope, and Amadeus across the US, UK, and Asia PAC.
Mr. Ephraim first entered the industry in 2004 with Globix, a New York based data center provider with fiber and data center assets in New York, California, and the UK, as the Director of Product Marketing. He led efforts to evaluate the cost structure of the retail colocation, CDN, and managed hosting product sets for the purpose of both resetting pricing and preparing the business to be sold to QTS and Telecity . After Globix, he took a leadership role at Tier1 Research, now 451 Research, selling and developing research and advisory solutions to help data center executives and investors address their respective challenges amidst the burgeoning industry.
Mr. Ephraim holds a BA from the College of Wooster (OH) and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. When not being a data center nerd, he can be found in Chevy Chase (MD) with his two children, or on on the Chesapeake sailing.
